bbqen2 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 I've followed the steps in the how to section, but all the drve unit does is turn in circles. It won't lift up at all. dbtk2 Posted January 2, 2005 Report Share Posted January 2, 2005 It pulls straight up. Mine didn't seem like it would for a while anyways, took me a half hour to get the damn thing out. I was trying to get a screwdriver under it to pry it out but couldn't do that. I eventually pulled it up using some vice grips. It might be stubborn, but it will come eventually. bbqen2 Posted January 2, 2005 Author Report Share Posted January 2, 2005 I finally got it out using vise grips. Now I gotta find a replacement throttle body coolant hose on a Sunday. I had to cut the curved one to get it off. If I can find a pre-formed hose with a 90º bend in it I'll just bypass the throttle body coolant lines.
