NORBI Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Hi I just want to know does anybody know how many 1990 CS convertibles were made because i head that they were only a limited edition and that real production started in 1992. I am thinking about buying one with 164k miles (new engine 25k on it) and want to know how much are they worth and do they gain any value since they are so rare? Quote
91CuttyConv Posted January 12, 2003 Report Posted January 12, 2003 Don't quote me but I believe about 500 were made in 90. 1990 was basicly a test year, to see how they would do in the "real world". 1991 marked first year of full production (not 92). In 1991 1,515 were made, making 1990 and 1991 Cutlass convertibles the rarest of the W-Body Cutlass Convertibles. As far as increased value, I am not sure, in recent years though, at least in the Chicago area, the Cutlass Convertibles have started to become slightly more expensive but who knows what will happen 10 or 20 years from now. Hope this helped. Jason 1991 Cutlass Convertible Quote
