Remove all of the plastic trim plates from around the base of the seat front and back. Slide the seat all the way to the back and you'll see 2 bolts holding in the front of the "sliders." Now slide the seat all the way forward and you'll see the 2 in back. The bolts have a "torx" style head on them, but a standard 6 or 12 point socket will get them out...

So thats what those funky lookin things are. i see. Its rather a tight spot to get them out tho cuz there down inbetween the rails. Haynes Manual just said look fo rthe botls nothing about the style bolts.

Mine originally didn't have power seats. Could I hook it up to the buckle up light circuit that goes on the seat belt?
No, that wire grounds out to the chime module and instrument cluster when you fasten your belt.

A Hayne's manual should have the wiring diagram, if not hit up your local public library.

I put the power seats from my 88' into my 95 which didn't come equipped with any wires. I did however have all the wireing from the 88' which made it easy.

For the ground I just used one of the bolts the seat bolts to..

For power I tapped into the power wire that goes to my amp in the trunk. (it was the closest power wire I could find and hasn't caused any problems).
