Brian P
never came with it but it can be installed if you have the 3.4 (old PCM)

Brian P
I mean in '94 the 3100 got the OBD2ish (like 1.5 really) PCM that may or may not have all the data that the DIC needs. The 3.4dohc in '94 kept the same PCM that was used in 91+ so it definetly has all the data. Shawn tested one out in his 94 vert and it worked
GnatGoSplat
Yep, the DIC will work in your 94 since you have the 3.4 DOHC! I don't think the harness is there, but I didn't pull the climate control to check for sure, although I DID fish around with my hands and didn't find anything. Mine has MAF, SFI, etc. also, but the DIC still works. I connected a DIC out of an 89 and it worked great! I didn't hardwire it, just plugged it into the ALDL connector, but it picked up all the functions under the "gages" button (coolant temp, volts, rpm, etc.). I plan to permanently install one into my '94, but right now I still have to finish my HUD project in the '89.
