5sp gp
my gp has a single fan. i have all the parts for duel fans. is the wiring hidden in the harness or what wires do you splice in to. i think my motor is crapping out so i want to convert. or is it possible to change the motor out of the bracket with a duel fan setup motor. 5speedz34
The fans and the motor are all one set-up. I dont think you can change the motors, I would just bolt in the dual ones, you'll have to splice though to get 'em to work.
Intlcutlass
I would bet that the connectors are at least in the fuse/relay block if not the wiring. If your going to swap an engine, putting in a diff colling fan unit would be easy by comparison. I am not even sure I would use the original wiring..It would be a perfect time to install a manual turn on switch.
5sp gp
my engine is not shot the cooling fan motor was. the bearings were wore out so i droped in one of the fans from the duel setup. should i splice both fans together or run wires from the fuse center. Guest TurboSedan
my car used to have the dual fans, but the secondary fan motor went south so i removed it completely. one fan was all i needed, even sitting in the Burger King drive through last summer at 90'
