CuttySup
A friend of mine with an '02 GTP has one. They're loud as hell; you can hear them from a mile away because they suck in so much air. When you stab the gas they make a zippy, whistling noise. I think they suck in a little too much air, more than what the engine can handle. He says he noticed it struggle sometimes.

Canada
You guys with the OHV engines don't need to relocate your battery to have a CAI........... Also, what kind of pipe bender is this? Is it a rotary-draw or mandrel bender (equal diameter bends) or a crappy press bender like exhaust shops use (that neck down on the bends)? Either way, if *I* had an OHV W-Body, I'd buy one of the cheapo E-Bay WAI's, and then one 90 deg, and one 45 deg aluminum 3in bend, along with some extra straight piping and two extra couplers, then relocate the filter to below and in front of the front exhaust manifold (attatch the 90 deg bend to the end of the WAI pipe, and run it back towards the center of the car over the coolant pipe [or under depending on whether you have an MFI 3.1L or an SFI 3100], then the 45 deg bend down below the front exhaust manifold, and on top of the AC lines)...........this way you get a good source of cool air from below the car and don't have to worry about battery relocation. Sure there may be a little bit of radiated heat from the manifold, but ANY foward motion is going to provide cool air to the filter. Just don't go bashing snowbanks or hitting DEEP puddles with this setup.........

5speedz34
You might be able to get that rubber adaptor, at Autozone, or Murrays. I would try APC? or Summit?

Dannymik
The FWI is suppose to be the best way to go with not breaking the bank, but do consider the risk of a wet climate. THis is why I'm going with a wizaired design.

sonyman87
i serously dont see how weather would be a problem. atleast with my car the bottom has a plastic guard keeping the elements out .. in a way its almost like a caul(sp?) induciton without being in the hood. Baddflash
I drove it a bit when the roads were really slushy and not a thing on it, I don't think debris is a problem located there.

Unless you want to cut some holes into your hood and make it a ram air design
