lynchmob723 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 Actually it didnt fix my problem, I mispoke. I beleive my head gaskets are shot because I am getting bubbles in my coolant resovoir. What i think happend is when its cold the heads contract and i dont get enough pressure because of a leak...But then once they warm up and expand which then expands the leak closed, i get enough pressure and my T-stat opens up. This explains why I was overheating when it was cold out and then all the sudden my temp would just drop once the head expanded and the T-stat opened.
