well after chaseing down 3 blown ignition modules I seen why they blown . what I had ran into was the last person who had serviced the car used a wire to constant 12 v wired to the orange leads from the ecm basicaly tricking the ecm into thinking it was reciving voltage to fire the injectors.well over a period of time this would kill the module rusulting in blown fuse ect and constant hard starting.well after I located a factory service manual wich was a great help, this is what ive found thus far.Ok after replacement of the module and returning thr ecm wiring to normal I now have a no start condition fuel pressure and spark present but no injectors firing.Ok back to the manual using the code 45 no start trouble tree I worked my way down to checking the dark green wire with white tracer wire from the f/p relay to the ecm. The test instructed to use a test light to ground from this circut and turn the key on and see if the test light glows after 2 seconds ,it did not.according to the manual it says that either the circuit has a open or the ecm is crap.I did both a continuty test and ohm test all checked well there. question is im still doubting its the ecm any ideals?

anybody have one they want to unload cheap?

I think you might be reading the 2 seconds backwards. Unless I'am mistaken the fuel pump will be energized(light on) for the first two seconds after the key is turned on. It won't stay on unless the engine is running. You should be able to hear your pump run for the first 2 seconds and then shut off.

Good luck.
