strage problems with new engine

i have a strange problem with my lights. when i tryed to turn them on lastnight they would not even trickle. but now when i press the button they come on but they flicker a little. i had just put my engine back in and i checked all the grounds. and also i have a abs light on and i never had it on when i had the car before do i have to reset something.[/img]

Sounds like something is shorting out intermettietly.
