5speedz34
Like I said before check out L67swap.com, but a L67 has 240 hp/and 200? tq., but being in your monte that's a lighter car, than the current GTP. I think with a stock L67 you'll be into the low 14's.
sl3196
Stock l67 is 240 hp/ 280 tq.
5speedz34
I knew they had alot of torque, but that's so much in a fwd car, can you say torque steer?

EurosportZ34
is your current Z34 a 5-speed?
mfewtrail
Torque steer isn't noticeable after you've driven the car a few times because you become accustomed to it.

I was gonna reach through the monitor and smack you silly but i guess if it's just an auto i don't see any harm there.

john99gtp
mmmmm, torque steer with the L67, you will be in the mid 14s. I saw an LS Monte that swapped in one, and hes down to like 14.1, with the stock pulley on the SC. Thats a damn fast car. He also had a DHP PCM and such, but probably the biggest HP gain is from a smaller pulley. And its a great engine, designed by Buick. Its a beast and will last. my granddad owned 3 NA 3800s, 2 series one, and 1 series 2. The series 1's went over 300,000 miles before he sold the cars, and the series 2 is right along side with 200k and still going strong. Hes a ford man, but he likes the 3800s. brianteel
I have a L67 and really dont have any torque steer at all and i am running low 13s. As for a 5 spd.....I am almost done converting my 96 GP to a 5spd. I have run into a few things like the oil filter hits. other than that trying to setup the master cylinder is a bit of a pain. You will need the booster from a 5spd w-body, pedals, getrag 282 (you can use the 284 but the clutch is alot of money), shifter and linkage. i am in the process of trying to setup the fiero master cylinder and slave. i think it will fit better without modding the firewall
WhiteMonteZZZ
Grim, Talk to DOHCZ34 over at MyMonte.com. He's swapped in an L67 in his 95 Z34 and can walk you through it step by step (he even helps out with swaps in his free time). WMZZZ
brianteel
there is also a write up on http://www.l67swap.com on how to do it and the wiring....it is listed under 94-96 GP....but all w-bodies are the same
