If you're talking about body/structural repairs, there are specific adhesives for bonding metal to metal in automotive applications. The car manufacturers use them as well as the kit car industry. Correct...the bov is welded to a flange, or should I say, a piece of a spare upper IC pipe. It's going on a spare lower pipe. It will be bonded kind of around the lower pipe.
