dalejw3
I have a 1993 Lumina Euro with the 3.1. I was at work yesterday and I had when i wen't to leave, my car started, i mean actually started, not just fired, ran for maybe a second, and then killed just like I had shut off the key. I checked the fuse block under the hood and the fuse labled DIS was blown, its a 10amp and it runs to the coils. I replaced it, tried to start the car and the same thing happend. crank, start, blown fuse and dead engine. i can't see where there could be a short in the wire, and I have the diagrams. Any thoughts or Suggestion. Please help, I have no transportation. thanks.
terryk2003
sounds like a bad ignition control module to me! the module is located directly under the coils...the coils mount to it...you can take it off and have it checked @ an auto parts store!
