av8n
I was hopeing someone could clear up a little problem I'm having. I removed the 3-4 accumulator piston/cover from the channel plate during a rebuild and figured I'd follow the rebuild manual and "easily" reinstall it. Problem is the pictures in the manual don't exactly match the parts I have, so.... It looks like the piston pin goes through the piston, between the cover and the piston, but, the pin has a lip on it. Does the lip go towards the inside of the cover or does the pin go through the top of the piston and the lip get sandwich between the piston and the channel plate. Thanks, Paul PS if someone could enlighten me to how to upload an image, I could post some pics to help[/img]

av8n
I found the answer I was looking for. The overhaul manual must be showing an earlier model (I guess). The pin gets installed from the opposite side of the channel plate . Thanks for the help guys. Paul
