Firwall holes in 99 Olds Intrigue

I'm installing an amp in a 99 Olds Intrigue 3.8L. Does anyone know where the firewall holes are? I pulled the carpet up but couldn't find any that went directly into the engine compartment.

Is there any way you can take apart the piece under the steering column? That's what I had to do..

If it's anything like my gtp pull up the pass side carpet and there is a huge grommet there. Should be about where the tips of you toes would be if you are sitting in the seat.
