TeeJay3800 Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Is he talking about the light near the gauges that tells you to upshift? I didn't thing that was functional on autos.... Quote
Brian P Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Yeah it's a rare Z34 thing, the light tells the tranny when to shift, rather than the ecm. Anyway, yes it's there, no it's not functional. There's no bulb, and nothing from the factory that tells it to turn on, on your vehicle. Quote
terryk2003 Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 i think he's talkin about the light in the center console that lights up to show where the gears are and which gear you're in Quote
MoTox8410 Posted December 3, 2004 Author Report Posted December 3, 2004 yeah i was talking bout da light under the console couldnt find it  lol Quote
5speedz34 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 yeah i was talking bout da light under the console couldnt find it lol So you still can't find it? All you have to do is take off the shift knob, which is a little clip on the front of it, and pop it off with a screwdriver, and then pop the shifter plate off (it'll snap off), and then the bulb should be under there, its small the size of a LED.
