thanks, i'll give those a shot

edit your diagrams helped in that i at least had some measure for comparison to the diagrams i found previously. now i have a few other problems:

i got the ub3 to power up. my biggest problem now is that i am missing a few wires, and i still don't know where the tach signal wire goes. i'm pretty sure now that the white wire is the tach signal, but on the chart in the upgrades section, there is no listing of a white wire or a tach signal port. so, fellas. a little help?

here;s what i still need to know:

1. where does the white wire for the tach signal go

2. where do i tap into for the display dim enable wire

3. where do i tap into for the bi directional serial data link between the cluster & ecm

4. what is the vf dimmer and where do i tap in for it

i think that's it. thanks in advance if anyone can help
