carlseja
What do you guys reccomend for brakes as far as rotors and pads, what brand, drilled/slotted/normal, semi-metallic/ceramic? I ordered a new accumulator and I figure I may as well do the whole brake job while I am at it. I think I remember someone reccomending Bendix for being reliable and very affordable, but any input is appreciated. Thanks.
manualturbo
i dont know myself or know anyone using them right now, but it seems to me that drilled and slotted would be the way to go. the dissipation in heat would help since it seems that the front brakes on these cars are the stopping power, and with little or no help from the rear the fronts get very hot. as far as pads im not sure, ive just always used the albanys with the lifetime warranty. mitch
RedZMonte
http://www.tirerack.com has EBC Greenstuff pads (GOOD pads) as well as Dimpled and slotted rotors. I am running all of these on my car when the time comes to get brakes. Also they have Goodridge SS braided brakelines. or checkout http://www.EBCBrakes.com for info on them. they are molded with the dimples/slots so they are safe and will not crack like aftermarket drilled rotors.
