Aircraft Stipper for clearcoat removal

Just wondering if anyone who has stripped their wheels has used the aerosol can stuff and how did it work. I can get it in either an aerosol can or a gallon jug, but if I go the can route( which seems the easiest route) I dont feel like using wasting my money if I end up needing 30 cans or something compared to just one gallon jug. So if you used the cans, how many did you need. ( I plan on doing this tomorrow so I need to buy it tonite)

I used the stuff in a spray can and It works great.....one can should be fine for all 4 wheels, two tops....

My buddy and I used that stuff to strip the hood on his '72 Datsun 240. Worked great. For some reason, there were like 8 layers of paint on that car.
