Aaron Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 As far as torque specs, you won't ever get a torque wrench in there They should go pretty tight given it si a cast iron block. You shouldn't have any issues stripping them. Just go with what feels right, but do go kinda tight on them. I usually use a 3/8" drive ratchet, and go from there. Don't use a 1/2" drive though, that much tq is not neccesary. Quote
GPXSS Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 45-60ft/lbs should do it. 60ft/lbs is around kungfugrip tight using a standard 3/8" ratchet, as much as you can go. More than that and you need a breaker bar or a pipe. Quote
