capitol-izod
Hi all, Just inherited a 96 Monte Carlos (grandfather's old ride). I am really into this car and I want to make it look good. I am planning to paint it this coming spring, but first I must replace a dented passenger side door. Question: Are my only options 95-99 Monte Carlos? Is it possible that another W-body door will fit? I ask because I remember that my old 87 Regal (G-body) used the same doors as a 82-87 Cutlass Supreme. If I am able to use a door off of a 2 door W-body Cutlass, Regal or Grand Prix then that would make my junk yard search for a door that much easier. Thanks in advance for any help!! -Ian
Justin
No, you're pretty much stuck there. The '96 Lumina/Monte Carlo are odd ones in that they are just revised sheetmetal on a '88 platform. Gen I 2 door Lumina doors won't line up, and neither will the newer Gen II Monte Carlo doors. jeremy
yeah ...only the monte doors will work.......be thankful your door handles are on the door itself too... ...and welcome to the board....
