White93z34 Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 alright i've been wondering what injectors will work in a 3.4 dohc, are they engine specific or can i use any injector from a 2.8/3.1? i would most likely be replaceing them in a complete set. anyone know? Quote
gp90se Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 the 91-93 injectors on a 3.4 are 23# 88-93 2.8/3.1 injectors are 19# TGP injectors are #22 I woulnt use anything lower then 22# but no more then 24# Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 why are you changing out your injectors? because it takes a while to start? becides that your car runs great Quote

herb427sc Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 The 3.4DOHC were oddballs. Special injecyors for that motor. Special spray pattern. Quote

Aaron Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 You can't change the FPR on the 3.4 without buying a new fuel line IIRC. As for the injectors, any year 3.4 DOHC will work, and I'd suggest getting the 96-97 nes. They are like silent, plus won't make the car stall out. Quote
joey b Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 94+ will cut the stalling problem. And I was under the impression that the FPR was adjustable by turning the screw on the 96 3.4's Quote
Aaron Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 Yes on the 96-97 you can adjust the FPR with a screwdriver. The 94-95s did cut out the stalling, but they are still loud. Quote
