mihela816 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I was poking around in the engine bay of my grandma's new Impala and noticed that they use the same brake booster mounting location as the first gen. Are their boosters any better/worse than ours? Is the pushrod the same length? Or is it just the exact same booster? Quote
cutlassdude96 Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 if you want a bigger brake boster get the 94+ ones, they are bigger Quote
mihela816 Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 Thats not what I wanted to know, I have one sitting in my room waiting to install come spring. This might affect manual cars, maybe one is an in-between size that would fit with the clutch mc and not get in the way. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 According to car-part.com, the 2000 Impala boosters with 4.62" pushrod will work. I don't know if they're different or identical to the 94+ booster or not. Quote
