DaveFromColorado
like I said before, it doesn't matter how many "free" CFM the motor is pushing, you have to know how efficent it is once it start to get "plugged" meaning, how much pressure can the motor create, if it can only create one pound per sq. in. then we know that it's a highly inefficent motor, now if all you're looking for is 1lb at whatever CFM you can cram in there to make that 1lb, then go for it, you'll probably be somewhat happy with this unit, but in the longrun, you'll be wishing you'd had somethin' with a little more kick. I don't think that sonyman was dumb for getting this unit, it seems to do good things for his car, and that's great, but it's not a unit I would personally choose to buy. Do you have to modify the car to use it? not much, the map signal won't get too screwed up with only 1psi behind it, most likely it'll just max out, and the o2 sensor will take over for making sure you're rich enough to run safely, however, I'd think that ign. knock would pull the timing back so much you wouldn't be able to see much of your extra power. --Dave.
