You are an idiot.

Here is a dyno chart...3100, FFP UDP, Street Arsenal TB (worthless), and 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust with a high flow cat and straight through muffler......

Did I loose any power or torque? No.

At the time, RSM Racing was the ONLY people that where even willing to make one....other than Mantapart, who is by FAR worse than you guys make RSM out to be.

I now currently have Tranzgenic's CAI. (A company you fucks thought was worthless.)

Is that horsepower right??? Cuz I hear that you guys say that the 3.1 gets 130 somethin stock, and I have a car care guide that says it has 185 stock, and also if you heard the 130 from GM its way low anyway cuz GM under rates there horespower, where Dodge and Ford overrated theirs

Small port 3100s are rated at 155 or 160 hp depending on model and year.

Big port 3100s are rated at 165-170 IIRC.

3.1L MPFIs are rated at 130, 135, and 140 depending on year on model.

The dyno chartt I showed you shows both horsepower and torque at the wheels....so this isn't flywheel horsepower.....remember, power is lost through the transaxle.

GM has underrated horsepower.......LS1 F-bodies are a fine example. They also do overrate things as well......3400s are another fine example......185 hp fior the *truck* 3400? Yeah....they make the same as the rest.....anywhere from 175-180 depending on who you talk to.

GM also likes to place their peaks every 400 rpm for some reason.

Everybody lies.....in one form or another..........it just depends on what vechile it is and how accurate the equpiment used is to test the vechile.

If I came off as a dick....sorry I guess.....its not like everyone on this forum is peaches and cream all the time. I was simply trying to show how inaccurate and worthless the butt dyno really is.

LS1 F-bodies aren't underrated at all. I watched a 2002 SS run a dyno, and he pulled 302hp to the wheels. Factory it had 335hp, and he had a K&N intake.

And btw, anything less than 5 hp to the wheels is a measureable error. Your car will make a difference of 5fwhp every run it makes naturally. And you provided 3 dyno graphs to prove it. Becuz of temperature, and a bunch of other things, cars aren't that consistent. Therefore a gain of 4.5fwhp could be no gain at all, just your motor running 10* cooler.

Also btw, I paid $160 for my mandrel bent, powdercoated fenderwell CAI, and it also shipped in 3 days

302 / 335 = 90.1%.....rrrriiiiiiiiggghhhhhtttt. ;)

Maybe there would of been that difference inebtween runs....maybe there wouldn't of been............all I know is that a DynoJet is a lot more accurate than a butt dyno. My dyno chart at least stands to reason....I don't know how you gys think they make less power.

Perhaps its because you think the air is that much warmer......well, it isn't. Above 35 mph, the IAT reads a few degrees above ambient......below, it does warm up........but it also warms with the stock box too. Granted, the exhaust crossover pipe is right there, but surprisingly, it doesn't have a major impact in power output.

You guys are SO set in your ways, its really a waste of time trying to discuss it with you...............reminds me of L67 owners.

:P
