BlackZ34Lumina
Okay, I've repaired my heater tube and refilled my radiator. It never allows coolant through the upper tube. The thermostat is not to blame because I even tried 2 others on hand and tried it without one at all. I simply have no coolant exiting the radiator. Anybody have this happen before? I believe that my radiator is clogged....hope I'm right. Anyone have any other suggestions or the best way to flush the radiator. Thanks so much for any help. GnatGoSplat
Sorry if this is too basic, but did you remember to bleed the air out of the system first?
BlackZ34Lumina
Yes, I did bleed the system. I've got other probs now. Water in the oil. ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
GnatGoSplat
Water in the oil, uh oh!!! Sounds like a head gasket. That could also cause your clog-like symptoms too because compression gasses being pushed into the cooling system.
