93CutlassSupreme
an exhaust won't make that much difference. it will sound nicer, but you won't be like "Holy shit i gained 50 hp!!!!!"
99RegalGS
I switched to a 96+ DOHC intake on my 91 cutlass. That alone added 400 more rpm to the powerband on the top end. It now pulls to 6600 instead of 6200. I have heard good things about the 13* ehxuast retard. I have not done it personally but If I have always wanted to do it. The idle does get lopey and could stall somtimes, but the WOT-Tech chip will raise the idle to 850 rpm to prevent stalling. I have not touched my exhaust at all. But a 2.5" mandrel bent and your prefrence for mufflers will do fine. Removing the cat will cause some lowend loss but will help on the top end. Another thing you should look into is the chip from WOT-Tech. Contact Ben (aka Vegeta). The chip helps the topend of the engine. This was the first mod I did. EurosportZ34
most guys got the warm air intakes which is just the short tube and filter combo...true CAI goes into the fender well so it doesn't suck in warm air ...i thought CAI was like a household name by now
gp90se
3.4 is just like every other motor in most ways, let it breath and it will go better, run a CAI thru the fender well, 2 1/2 mandrel bent exhaust without the cat, I dont like mufflers, but the magnaflow sounds decent. the 96+ top end lets it breath much better up top, and the 13 degree isnt a bad idea, but you will loose mpg. if you want some real power, have the heads shaved, and polish so the compression comes up to around 10.5, bring you around 270 horse. good luck
Aaron
My True Cold Air fenderwell intake is for sale...$140, it comes 3" aluminum mandrel bent piping, powdercated gunmetal grey, with couplers to the intake, a alternate mounting, 4 hose clamps, and grommets for the IAT sensor and oil breather line. And it comes with a old cone filter that is dirty...

Aaron
I have some pics up, but my school's IE won't connect to the page. Come X-mas time i will take some really high quality ones and put them up. there are a couple scratches, but they are where it enters the fender, so no one can see them. it was upon install when they happened. This intake provides a growl nearly double that of my WAI, I was shocked. Come 4500rpm, this car sounds MEAN.
