Daggar Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I got a line out converter for the bose amp so I could possibly use my CD Deck from my old Lumina (with no bose) Has anyone used one of these line out converters and if so whats the wattage needed to the amp/speakers? Quote
White93z34 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Line out converter??? whats that? i take it you have a lumina that has the bose setup. if so this is something i'm very intrested in. Quote
Daggar Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 Ok well I picked it up from Best Buy. Instructions and info are found at https://www.installedge.com/support/pdf/2001_IECPSI2_MAN.pdf thats what I got. best Buy says its what they use in their instor installs.. so... any ideas? Quote
White93z34 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 hmmm about how much did that piece run you? i'm in the slow process of adding a bose amplifier to my z and i would be certanly intrested in it... if it works. from the looks of the diagrams it acts as a go between from the aftermarket headunit's amped outs, and drops it down to the unamped input the bose amp expects, as i said if it works that'd be awesome. Daggar Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 cost me 30.00 CDN. Yet I'm still having truble. However I got 1 speaker working LOL Curse you bose system... Quote
White93z34 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 so prety much all you did with that is put in between your speaker outputs from the HU? and only one of them works? thats strange. not exactly sure whats going on with it, or even how it works for that matter. keep us posted Quote
Daggar Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 Yeah thats all I pretty much did. I fiddled with the ajustments but I can't get sound out of the others. I am stumped. Quote
