stockgp
you know what your power steering pump sounds like when there's no fluid in it? well my tranny kind of sounds like that. is it because there is not enough fluid in it? it sounds like it's coming from the bell housing/valvebody are. biff85ta
You know power steering pumps also make that noise when they are going out too. You could have a pump dying on your tranny.

DaveFromColorado
could be the drive chain getting loose too ... Often chains will get to sounding much the same when they are worn or loose --Dave.

TeeJay3800
Mine whined a little when I went around a sharp left-hand corner while on the gas. As it turns out my tranny fluid was low and adding some erased the noise. I'd check your fluid level.
