tranny noise

you know what your power steering pump sounds like when there's no fluid in it? well my tranny kind of sounds like that. is it because there is not enough fluid in it? it sounds like it's coming from the bell housing/valvebody are.

You know power steering pumps also make that noise when they are going out too. You could have a pump dying on your tranny.

i hope not. my tranny cooler lines belw a while back, so i'm hoping i just didn't put enough fluid back in

could be the drive chain getting loose too ... Often chains will get to sounding much the same when they are worn or loose

is this a whinning sounds?

 

my trany is old 177k miles and it whinnes like there is a stock L67 under the hood maybe not at sloud but its noticable in 1st gear

Mine whined a little when I went around a sharp left-hand corner while on the gas. As it turns out my tranny fluid was low and adding some erased the noise. I'd check your fluid level.
