bluegp Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 For the '96 Lumina: which alternators interchange? Is it pretty much all '94-up cars with the 3100/3400? Are the output ratings all the same? Are there different clock positions? Quote
DiscoStudd Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 Check out this place: http://www.alternatorparts.com/ And be sure to check this out especially: http://www.alternatorparts.com/chevy3_1.htm FYI, the 94-95 N-Bodies with the 3100 actually have the older CS-130 installed on them, whereas every other car w/3100 have the CS-130D. Go figure... Quote

Go figure... Woah, you could run a huge air compressor off of that 250A one, lol, good for 3.5kW. Only $430!! Seriously, my iceberg alternator should be here shortly, so I definitely will be reporting back on my experience with NQS Internet/Quick Start. Just got the 105A CS-130 version though. Quote

Go figure... Thanks. I have browsed that site before. I was thinking about getting one on eBay, but there didn't seem to be any ending soon enough. I got one at the local Napa store - didn't have time to play around as it's my only road worthy car right now. Quote
