EuroSedan93
Hey guys, I just took the intake off for cleaning, and looked in the hose and found this: Is this enough oil in there to cause a worry?
maybe2fast
crank case breather tube, just got excited! your baby will be fine
Guest Gp crazy
Check your PVC valve function if it rattles usually it's good if it sticks that's bad. Yours look's like it's stuck open! have you got a lot of miles on this motor? You got some blowby compression by the rings or bad valve seals! unsure with out looking at it! I would worry about only if it comes back after cleaning that up! hope i have helped Jeff b
THe_DeTAiL3R
I put a little hose on my crankcase breather tube and routed it out the fender. That was on my 2.8... got tired of cleaning the TB/intake.
Robby1870
That seems like a little too much oil, from the numerous 3.1Ls Ive seen. PCV valve is prolly stuck open, like has been said

Slade901
Search the net for these keywords PCV Catch Can It is similar to an air compressor air/oil filter.
pitzel
A picture of mine would be identical when I took it off. I don't think its any cause for concern. My PCV system has always been in perfect working order as well, so this must be just a natural part of the design.
