hosser
Wow i wake up this morning to start my car and let it warm up, sense it frosted out up here in northern MI, and eversense then my car has been running like crap. When i rev on it or just in drive accelerating my engine makes a highish pitched noise. I have noticed a slight decrease in performance, but overnight it went from fine to sounding like shit. I do have a gasket leak i know that, i have delt with it all summer i am just to lazy to take the time to replace it myself. But possibly the cold weather could have made the crack in my gasket get larger? Could this cause the noise/ slight performance problem? pitzel
Do you have a voltage meter on your car? Mine progressively made more noise until the alternator gave out -- am waiting on an iceberg replacement at the moment, but a common cause of the rpm-dependant whine is from the alternator.
