havikx Posted October 16, 2004 Report Share Posted October 16, 2004 i just wanted to know when the 3.4's first year and last year was as it pertains to w-bodies and if there was any difference between each year. i had heard something about one being single fuel injector and another being mulit-injector. just wondering the differnce and if there is any differnt spec's for each year. i dont care about 3400 or that bullshit. White93z34 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Share Posted October 16, 2004 3.4 production was from 1991-1996 91-93 engines were the first generation and as far as i know were all the same. 1994 the 3.4 recieved a few changes, i think a few extra HP were added in the "twin dual cam v6" cover was replaced with "3.4 DOHC v6" 1995 i believe was the same 1996 a few components changed again, making the 3.4 an interference engine i doubt everythign that i just put down is 100% correct but thats what i know, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
