cutlsp Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 wouldn't be the first time someone modifyed a bumper to fit a cutlass :? Quote

Dannymik Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 wouldn't be the first time someone modifyed a bumper to fit a cutlass :? huh? jeremy...dont you remember the guy with the front spoiler that molded a BMW front bumper onto his Cutlass coupe? BTW it does look wider than the coupes plus the inner parking lights are shaped differently. It looks cleaner, because there isn't as many damn lines profiled into it Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 WTF? James, are you drunk? Quote
rudefyet Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 three things duct tape, fiberglass and a sawzall Quote
WhiteOut Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 The ribbing on the side panels/ground effects is noting alike on the coupe and sedan. Even if it does fit, which I doubt, it will look ridiculous without a lot of work. Quote
Baddflash Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Wouldn't take that long to try if you have both cars there. Works on the Lumina's and GP's so why not the Cutty? Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 sedans = teh suck anyway  Quote
terryk2003 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004  ...does that sedan have CLEAR CORNERS?...& will they work on a COUPE!?... Quote
Brian P Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 sedans = teh suck anyway  OOPS Sry I meant the Cutlass. Not that I really hate it or anything, just the back of the car looks weird. Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004  ...does that sedan have CLEAR CORNERS?...& will they work on a COUPE!?... no? it doesn't have them? :? Quote
runt Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004  ...does that sedan have CLEAR CORNERS?...& will they work on a COUPE!?... They are partly clear, there is orange towards the back. And I highly doubt they will fit on a coupe, they look too big. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I think that would look good if one could get that to work. Quote
jeremy Posted October 15, 2004 Author Report Posted October 15, 2004 I didn't even realize that the fascia had different "ribbing"......hmmm..... Quote
WhiteOut Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I didn't even realize that the fascia had different "ribbing"......hmmm..... Yeah, the coupes have a much more pronouced set, and I don't think the spacing is the same, but then again I've never parked the two side by side to make sure either. Quote
NORBI Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I dont know about sedans but i put a 92+ bumper with quad lights to my 1988 CS but i had to change hood, reinforcement, and of course lights. Quote
z34_nut Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 i don't think you have a chance in hell unless you have ALOT of time and money to complete it. the look totally different.. seems like your headlights are currently too close, for the coupe front fiasca to fit. Quote
jeremy Posted October 15, 2004 Author Report Posted October 15, 2004 it looks to be too involved for what it's worth.... Quote
