92gransport Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 have a question. I just got 4 new BFG Traction T/A's in the 'T' speed rating (225/60R16) for my Regal GS and wonder why the sidewalls are so soft? I mean, you can literally push the sidewalls in with your finger and I have 35 psi in them. Almost look like they're going flat (squished out). The car had 'S' rated Goodyears on the back and 'H' rated Firestones on the front before the change and they were all much more solid feeling with 34 psi, so what gives, is this just the way that BFG's are? My Camaro Z/28 has 'T' rated Goodyears (235/55R16) and they are very solid feeling on the sidewalls. I feel disappointed - it seems that the BFG Traction T/A's are getting really good reviews. Quote
manitcor Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 a softer tire will yeild better traction but will wear much quicker too Goodyear Eagles for me, Im lovin em Quote
mihela816 Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 They might need inflated mor than the other tires. Mine are at 42 psi and they are perfect. Quote
