slick
Ok, the wire harness swap seemed to have worked. Since the harness I got was a 91-93 harness, and the engine is a 95, we had to change two plugs(one for the tranny, the other the alt.). Now, the car isn't charging at all. So, I need some info asap. 1) The plug that plugs into the alt. Does that tell the alt. to charge or not to charge? 2) Where exactly is the fusible link at? 3) I'm gonna run a wire from the alt. to the battery directly to see if that helps the charging any, if switching the wires on the plug doesn't help. IF this seems to work, what guage of wire should I run to the starter from the alt? Like I said, need help ASAP!!

DaveFromColorado
use nothin' smaller then 8ga wire from the alt power output to the battery. the other wires on the alternator are to mostly control the V-regulator - and they supply power to the alternator to energize the field to allow it to generate power. I don't have any of the wiring diagrams so I can't tell ya which wire goes where ... sorry I can't be more help then that. --Dave.
slick
Well, that will be the first thing I will do then, is switch the wires. Hopefully this will be an easy fix, because the harness swap has seemed to work.
