Guest Anonymous Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Ok guys, I may have found a new vehicle. Im in PA right now, and there is a black GTP coupe, 98 i think, for $6500. It looks like its in good shape, probably around 90k miles. I didnt get a good look at it, but does that seem resonable? Quote
sl3196 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Yup sounds like a pretty good price depending on condition, options, etc... Quote
JNGTP94 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 I agree depending on the condition that sounds like a damn good price... my friend here is looking for a GTP and they are too hard to find and when u do find one..... they are like 12gs or above Quote

THe_DeTAiL3R Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 You don't have money to fix your current cars yet you want to buy ANOTHER newer more expensive car?? Quote
goodriddence17 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 sounds like a good deal to me. My friend has a 97 GTP, exaust, downpipe, intake, 18's, nice car..85K miles and he wants $6000...both are good deals Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 I feel Ross is competant enough to work on a 3800. It isn't brain surgery, and the engine is overall pretty straightforward. If he can't work on a 3800, he doesn't need to be owning a car. Quote
HokemBokem Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 You don't have money to fix your current cars yet you want to buy ANOTHER newer more expensive car?? thinkin the same thing Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 sounds like an OK deal...so your going to sell your Petty Edition then?? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 my mistake... its a 2000. And yes, if I got it, id sell both. Quote
HokemBokem Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 I thought you were gonna fix the petty :? Quote
White93z34 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 i thought that the PE was your dream car that you wanted for years and years. kinda strange to run away now ain't it? i want the PE if you sell it. Quote
Robby1870 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Petty Edition, before you know it, you're gonna have way to many cars, LOL Quote
DiscoStudd Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Post some pics!!! I'd say $6500 is reasonable if the original owners took good care of it. If it has the obvious signs of neglect, then run far, far away!!! If it's a 2000 model selling for that low, then you might have to question why. I watched an eBay auction last year for a 2000 GTP coupe that went for $4500. I read the feedback and the buyer said the seller didn't disclose their being a cracked head  . I guess you get what you pay for... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Yeah, The PE is my dream car. I just saw another for the first time totally tricked out, and I found round fog lights with those angel eyes or halos or whatever... just what I wanted. but if this GTP coupe is good, the project is over  Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 How much do you want for it? I'll actually fix it. Quote
White93z34 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 How much do you want for it? I'll actually fix it. i called it first, bitch yes i too will actually fix it and enjoy the hell out of it. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 well at least keep one PE...don't throw your dreams entirely away! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Just get a Daytona GTP.. They were slightly more than just stickers. At least you GOT RIMS!!!!!!!!!!11!11!1!!!1 Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Ive seen those daytona's.... those are really nice. I'd love one of those 8) Quote
HokemBokem Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 well sell your petty edition to someone on this site that will acually fix it and not procrastinate about it. Quote
jeremy Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 well sell your petty edition to someone on this site that will acually fix it or part it.... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 No go on the GTP. I looked at it a litttle better... 120k on a 4 year old car! The outside was in good shape, but the leather inside was all cracked and messed up. Looked like a bad apple. Quote
dsgrntld187 Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I'll buy the sedan.. I could use a 3rd car Quote
