92blackz34
hello i am wondering on the back brakes of a lumina z34 are there and special tools needed to change the pads. my dad insists u need special tools? thanks
J
the special tool is to push in the caliper, it actually twists in not pushes like many others, this is due to the ratchiting e brake. I forget which way but one goes clockwise and the other counter clockwise. Almost all local auto parts stores should have the tool. At the parst store by me i can even rent the tool that GM made to R & R pads. Hope this helps some Jay

J
it is possible to hack it with pliers to turn it in, but get the 4 dollar tool, and the torx bit u need also
