thebaron
Just picked up this car from a friend after my x-11 conversion project car was almost wiped by Ivan's rain.... It has good power now, but want more Most sites don't have much info about performance items for this 3800 Motor anymore. Can't afford a L67 swap quite yet, but my x-11 was going to get one someday in any case It needs a tune up and considering MSD/Accel solutions for the ignition, but have not determined what I all need yet. Thanks
slick
Just get AC Delco parts. It's the best for the buck.
gpse_97
for ignition stick with stock AC\Delco. for mods, just throw on an intake, maybe some exhaust.
mfewtrail
It has good power now, but want more Most sites don't have much info about performance items for this 3800 Motor anymore. I never knew that anyone had ANY performance info/items for the NA 3800 series I engines. They would be pretty mean if someone took the time to actually build one up. I've thought about doing so, but that's about as far as I've gotten since I've got so many other things to tinker with right now(current cars + spare motors). 99RegalGS
*waits for Sean to chime in* lol If you want more power I suggest to find a 92-95 L67 (preferably 94,95) Take the lower intake through the throttlebody and grab the mounts for the alt and the p/s pump, all the idler pulleys, the harmonic balancer and buy new belts. Then bolt all the pieces to your 3800 and enjoy. Stock 92,93 L67's had 205hp and 260tq Stock 94,95 L67's had 225hp and 275tq.
