Yes, that lovely creature is mine.

:D

I might not even have a problem with towing it. If I can:

get a temporary front bumper cheap

fix the front signals (duct tape? ;))

swap on my CS wheels w/ good tires

replace the transmission pan (hopefully only the pan supposedly),

than I can drive it home :D

(he doesn't have stock wheels though *grr* oh well, hell of a deal :))

I'm definetly rethinking a swap into the CS. Too much of the car just looks to be in too good of condition to part it..

Screw the CS, fix the TGP!

It needs a lot of work, but it's definitely a lot more sporty looking than a white 4dr Cutlass.

How much did she set you back? Looks like you have quite a project ahead of you, but it'll be worth it and fun too.

 hot damn thats nice!

whats the cars story??

Not sure what the story is.. I'll find out later, I have to jet out the door to work now.

It is law that car's are supposed to have bumpers right? lol I'm just trying to figure out what I can get away with. If I can get it up on jacks, replace the tranny pan (same pan between N/A and T?), fill it with ATF, swap the wheels and be on my way home, I will be VERY fucking happy.

Not bad, not bad at all!

Parts shouldn't cost that much either. I think paint would be the most costly item it needs if the frame is straight.

I like how you got it from a guy who's email is Left Nut Larry.... did he make you kiss the right one?

You could fix it with GP SE parts, I believe they are the same. My dad had an '89 grand prix SE and it had the same fog lights and side skirts as the turbo

SE has same foglights, headlights, and corner lights, but completely different side skirts and front/rear bumpers.

Front bumper is TGP-specific. Rear bumper, side skirts, and valence are the same as 91-93 B4U (GT/GTP).

nice grab for that price. How many miles are on it? Good luck with all the repairs

Posted

thats nice! nice grab!! right now those wheels look :puke: but maybe if they're capable of being cleaned up, they might look good.

good luck with it!!

Are those American Racing 17" wheels? I just had a shipment of those at work.

You can have my spare (but cracked) TGP nose, hit me up with a PM and we'll work out a pickup/dropoff

I guess I'm the only one that recognizes it, eh? A guy on the TGP board(might be here too) used to own it/possibly auctioned it off? I can't remember if it ever sold a few months ago or not, it wasn't wrecked then. I say restore the TGP back to stock or possibly mod it a bit along the way!

Anyways, this is what it looked like with a front end.

I might have some more pictures of it also, I'll post them if I do find more.

I'd definetly be getting an SE hood and cutting the holes myself and reusing the vents on that one.. hell, I'd sure have a template at least.

nice find

gonna change your S/N now???

 lol, not for a bit anyway.

and I agree about the wheels... :? probably sell or trade them for stockers. I don't even know what they are, wonder how much I could get for them.
