SmoothSteve3 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Hey everyone- Heres whats going on now: Every time someone buckles up in the passenger seat, the lap belt stays tight, but the chest belt pulls out and wont retract back in. Is this something that I can "fix" or am I going to have to replace some component of the seat belt inside of the door.... The car is a 1990 lumina 3.1 Thanks! SmoothSteve Quote
White93z34 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 there was a seatbelt recall on 1990 luminas, go to the dealership and see if it's been taken in, else go to the junkyard and grab one from a 91-94 lumina. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 take off your door panel and adjust the seat belt thing. i've had to do mine a couple times it just gets caught up somehow. Quote
