sonyman87
any high flow cat cut out the resignator slap on some high flow mufflers done!
stilesr9167
put some high flow mufflers on there and an aftermarket resonator. careful about how much you take off it tends to be a really load engine. to the point of rattaling the car if not done right. 2.5" with high flow cat, resonator, dual flowmaster 40 series and stainless steal tips works rather well. BimmerJr87
will any of this effect my emission, to pass echeck?
93CutlassSupreme
as long as you have a cat you'll pass if the emissions equipment on your engine is working
BimmerJr87
would u guys suggest magnaflows for the 3.4 or flowmasters?
93CutlassSupreme
listen for yourself. i'd say flowmasters, but others on here will say magnaflows. make your own choice before this thread turns into a flaming match not trying to be a dick, but people here get excited about mufflers
Canada
The best performing muffler is a preforared (holes) core, straight through muffler. NOT a chambered muffler. MY exhaust is going to consist of a 3" downpipe to a Random Technologies cat, then split to 2.5" tail pipe with Dynomax Ultraflo mufflers........I plan on turbocharging it. stilesr9167
well it really depends on what you are looking for if you want it to sound like rice then go with the above reply but if you want it to sound like and engine not a weedwacker you would want to use the flowmasters. Heza
magnaflow sounds best on the 3.4. end of discussion.
JNGTP94
ive got the 40 series on my car and i love the sound... but ive been thinking of magnaflows only cuz i want a deeper sound... someone get me a sound clip of magnaflows on a 3.
sonyman87
i know this is not the same motor but this GP L67 guy inmy town would Kill to make his car sound like mine. he has Magnalfow mufflers i have flowmaster.. your NOT going to make any noticable difference in performance between the 2 you loose some lowend = hard to launch with magnaflow but get a little top flows you keep some lowend = better launch but it dosnt help high end 2 well.. the difference is so minute its pointless to argue about.
