wow that is really impressive, great job Curtis bigthumbsup.gif btw, do you have a bracket supporting the turbocharger at the crossover flange?

PRICY! I really like the new pipes...even got a flex bellow....and how the transition from the pipes to the turbo is smooth. The Turbo is huge man! I guess you don't like halfshafts,

Cain't wait for the vids...or movie..

Beautiful!!

Can't wait to hear the equal length header guys start screaming!! Will you have dyno #'s for before and after? Obviously you will have before and after 1/4 mile #'s... 8)

I guess you don't like halfshafts,

As long as he is using TGP halfshafts they shouldn't be an issue. According to Driveline Specialties here in the Springs the TGP halfshafts are good for around 500HP. At least they are working perfectly in a 485HP 490ft/lbs torque (on the crank) Karman Ghia drag car the owner of Driveline has.

*edit* that is if TGP halfshafts will fit in a Z24?

big improvements between the 2 differing systems???

Yep, around 33% increase in the pre-turbo piping area.

I will have two, one from the manifold to the header flange on top (Round stock so it will look good), and one from the manifold too the tranny. Don't want it too stress crack.

I have Driveshaftshop Chromemoly axles, and I also run STS size outer CV joints.

Looking pretty badass Curtis. Makes me wanna get to work on Sunshine. Mmmm.... V band clamps. Now I gotta change my manties.

Mmmm.... V band clamps

Found them for half what places like Turbonetics charge too.

I got the flex coupler from a local exhaust supply shop. That's where I get the mandrel bends too.

I want headers. :(

Maybe I'll sell a pair or 2 when I get mine done. Now that the new welder's ordered and all. 8)

how much would ya sell your old turbo exhaust setup for?

I have been asked this before. The iron and aluminum heads have different bolt spacing, though I'm pretty sure they can be made too fit. I posted on the other board that if you are actually interested, email me at turboz24@swbell.net

Actually, no. I purchased both sets of my headers for my motor, I actually didn't build that part. I was going too order a pair unassembled just in case it didn't fit as it was, but it turned out too fit, so cancelled the unassembled order.

I'm going to sandwich an aluminum dual 1" row rad in the TGP. Did you have that custom made? Not bad looking. Now that I have my Spool gun I will be practicing welding so I can make my own intercooler (welding tanks on) and radiators. Maybe a custom rad. in the future.

It was actually a prefab that turned out too fit perfect. They put different inlet/outlet sizes on it for me, but that was about it. Ran me 260.00 and they also let me have the 2400 CFM Spal 16" fan for 110.00.

Not too bad.

Hell no, great cooling for $370, sounds good to me. I'm just welding AN fittings on my tanks for braided lines. Those are great, but w/o welding the fitting on, you have to use those damn adapters, which look like hell. Going from 2"+ hoses, to ~1" braided lines is sweet, and free's up a little space.

Well, on this radiator, the stock lower hose still works, but since I now have a double pass (turbine blocked the stock radiator outlet), I'l probably fabricate a pipe and just use silicon couplers on the ends too hook the coolant return too the radiator.
