loominaz34 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Hey all, now that the Z34 is here the problems have begun. first, the symptoms: It's throwing a code 33- MAP sensor out of range. It's idling LOW like 500 in park/ neutral and stalling if I try to let it idle in drive. It's got almost zero power below 1800 and above 5500 in between there, it pulls hard. The process i was told to do by a service manual was to see what the voltage was on the MAP sensor it self and if it is above 4.0v unplug it and it should drop to 1v and other things. this was on a 87 Olds too so it maybe different they yours.
