i was listening to my pontiac tape the other day, and it mentioned something about a credit card key. then it said something about it being hinged so it folds up to go back in your wallet. anyone know what this is, or have a pic?

its a plastic key that opens your door ONLY. My woman still has hers for her GP. It fits nicely in your wallet.

They are a nifty thing to have, especially when you lock yourself outta the car. Not saying that I have ever done that .......

i have some uncut ones somewhere. they came with my 93 back in the day. mine had both the door and ignition keys.

how would you go about getting uncut plastic keys cut? and i'll take them if you run across them and don't want them

uhhhhh maybe a key machine?

the wheel might burn and melt the plastic though

looks like you'd have to remove the key to cut it too.

i figure a key machine would probably melt them. but if not, the card lloks flexible enough that it would just bend out of the way.

Eh.. it'll flex enough to open a door with it, but it'll quite easily break at that point.
