supreme_style21 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Oh no don't do that! I think black rims make the car look like an old, beat police interceptor. Quote
skiiirt Posted September 29, 2004 Author Report Posted September 29, 2004 gunna add some window tint.. theyre gunna be polished so it wont look like i have spare tires on theres already lots of black on the car (the trim, back panel on the trunk) plus im gunna black the back tail lights out Quote
Bruticus Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Oh no don't do that! I think black rims make the car look like an old, beat police interceptor. What the heck it doesnt look that bad im not too fond of black rims. I love my alloys or chromes. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I personally don't like that style of rim at all. I think making it black will look even worse. 5-spokes or crosslace are the way to go. Thats just my oppinion though. Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I would just polish those rims...Hell I like that style better than my sawblades... If you want black rims, go get some steelies Quote
jeremy Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I would just polish those rims...Hell I like that style better than my sawblades... 94CutlassSLCoupe Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Yeah, ones that aren't just solid (have venting for the brakes) look good...but his wouldn't look any better than some black steelies. That pic has a cutlass that looks just like mine but I know it isn't! Who's is it? Quote
jeremy Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 That pic has a cutlass that looks just like mine but I know it isn't! Who's is it? I think his SN here is SloMo94, he lives around Grand Rapids..... Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Sorry man, but I think that looks really ugly!!! If you really want to paint them, I think the Pace Car paint scheme looks better than that. Quote
White93z34 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 the pacecar rims were sexy. Quote
GP1138 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 Sorry man, but I think that looks really ugly!!! If you really want to paint them, I think the Pace Car paint scheme looks better than that. I was thinking about picking up a set of those for my Prix, and painting them just like that. There's a set in a junkyard I frequent. Quote
90TGP Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 If you get the lip polished, it would look a lot better. Quote
skiiirt Posted September 29, 2004 Author Report Posted September 29, 2004 If you get the lip polished, it would look a lot better. Lip? elaborate please Quote
gimp19 Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 I like the way my Cutty looks with black crosslace wheels but its also a grey coupe. I think you be better of getting them resurfaced and leaving them with the alloy finish, cause there is way too much contrast between burgandy and black. Just my 2cents Quote

no1kicker Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 That photoshop is kinda deceiving. It looks like crap that way (IMO). But gloss black with a silver lip would look better. Quote
