Dude definately do not do this to your car. You will screw up the S/C snout and threads!! Its making me cringe already.

Here is what can happen otherwise with a jaw...

When doing the swap dont forget to reset your PCM by pulling the underhood fuse or disconnecting the negative battery cable. Also, dont be afraid to use anti-seize lubricant when necessary.

i was just asking, i am going to rent the puller this week and git er done

good man, this is def a right tool for the job issue. Be sure to install the pulley correctly too, theres a guy up here with an L67 who took a hammer to his new pulley putting it on and it is sitting at a good 10* angle. Im surprised the belt even stays on.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING BESIDES THE SPECIFIC PULLER MADE FOR IT!!!!!!!!! You will fuck shit up badly! Just rent the correct puller from the site you get the pulley from.

I bet it wouldn't have been so bad if he'd taken the nut in the middle off first.

Thats just the breather nut I believe.

Hey john next month I should have it!!! I also have to buy both new belts and new plugs and change the s/c oil. All I have to do is pay shipping from denver and back for the puller. :D
