fuel filter

I am sure this has been asked before but i could not find a previous thread. I was wondering if anyone could tell me were the fuel filter is on a 92 z and how to change it..

It is directly infront of the gas tank on the driver's side. it should be directly ahead of the rear wheels.

 

You will need the correct size FLAIR NUT WRENCH (there is a difference, i cant remember the size though, its metric) for the hard fuel line and a cresent wrench to use on the filter.

 

I would hose it down with PB Blaster for a few days before I'd try changing it.

Try using a small pipe wrench to break it loose.

i thought of that, but i'd probably just end up bending the fuel line more.

i didn't strip it.

 

 

i haven't changed the filter since i've had this car. whoever tried to change it before stripped it.
