GP1138
when ever i accelerate at a very low rpm my car like studders and then takes off. what could this be caused from Dirty injectors, bad icm/coils, clogged fuel lines, bad fuel filter, bad gas, bad plugs, plug wires, clogged air filter, potato in exhaust, throttle cable sticking, foot falling asleep... can you narrow it down at all?? DaveFromColorado
you forgot Transmission too... is it an engine related problem, or a trans related problem. there's HUNDREDS of things that could cause this without a more clear definition of what's happening. --Dave. JoroCorona
If you get a constant flucuation it could be burn valves. Also, My Z34 has the auto and the first gear clutch is giving out. It stresses out the motor a good bit and causes it to studder from a stand still. dohc v6
burnt valves. that would cause other problems wouldn't it. also when i turn the ac on it makes the vaccume go lower like 16-17 hg. and once out of a week it will just drop to 15 and then go back up and some times it will go up to 19 and flucuate between 19 and 20hg. the book says it is ignition. what on ignition would do this
dohc v6
what is the ohmmatic value for the coils and how do i measure them. the red on the termanial and the black on the ground. and also to add the hesitation is at 50 also. it does not want to accelerate but it does
Regal_GS_1989
Easy way to check if it is the coils is to disconnect one bank and then start then drive the car. when you disconnect the bad one, the car should shudder like it always does
no1kicker
could also be a sensor, TPS maybe.
