Does anyone make a "stroker" kit for the 3.4? I bought a 5spd with a rebuilt motor it has 2,500 miles on it now and i have a little more diagnosing to do but i believe it has a sloppy wrist pin. so i have to pull the bottom end down and was just curious if anyone made a different crank and rods????

that is what i thought because it is the same block as the 2.8,3.1 right???

Iwas just curious because the top end is new and the motor is bored.030 over so its fresh, but i thought if i have to pull her down on the bottom maybe i could have some fun with it

no.. I believe besides the fact that it's a 60* V6, it has pretty much no relation whatsoever to the 2.8 or 3.1.. (under the assumption we're talkinga bout the DOHC here, which it strongly seems so)

There is a different crank available from JBody Performance, its pricey and is a stock profile however its forged steel and is 10lbs lighter than stock. Thats it for cranks for these motors however the guys over at 60v6 have talked about modfying a 3400 block to accept a 3500 crank which is also forged steel and lighter.
