7200? it hard to see but it looks like it goes to 7800 in first. the way it has a dip or lag around 3krpm makes it look like theres a 3.4dohc under that hood. but to shift that high he must have a decent cam

what is the max shift speed for a 4t60-e?

Its gotta be something in the neighborhood of 7k because the 3.4 ran 6500 and it had to have been behind some Quad 4's which would have shifted at 6800

I dont call one tranny blowing up proof.

I concur, I have 160+k on my tranny, regular fluid changes, and thats it. I drive the hell out of my car. 700k road trip every weekend, the thing runs at top speed for hours on end, and never had a problem at all.

I haven't really taken my car up to the rev limit yet.. I don't need to pound the crap out of it like the 2.8 to get it up to speed.

I've seen Taylor's car... 1988 gold Cutlass with a 3100 is something you don't forget :)

Im pretty sure he is running stock shift points for the DOHC...and he has 3.73 FDR which would mean he is shifting around 7000 (fuck the tach, its a POS). Im interested to see he runs at the track, and lorenzo since I retuned lorenzo's car after he put the right length pushrods in. If its acting the same as taylors, his needs a retune as well.
